    clean room
    easy access
    overpriced dining

The location next to the park entrance makes for easy access to early sunrise tours. The twin room was clean and comfy, exceeding expectations for a jungle getaway.

The restaurant's food pricing is outrageous, with bland dishes and small portions. Expect cold eggs for breakfast and bathrooms in terrible condition-no hot water and unpleasant odors. The checkout experience was frustrating, as charges were incorrectly presented, and communication barriers due to staff's limited English compounded the issues.

Stunning and phenomenal location, 15 minutes' walk to Tikal Ruins. Found in a lovely area. Spacious room, a shower and bath sheets in the room.

We had a pleasant stay of our holiday.

Location: the hotel was short walk to the park for a night, the park entrance in the middle of the tropical jungle, and the public areas. This room was a nice size with a delightful view to jungle. We did not want to leave and would like to go back there again.

    clean twin room
    wildlife sightings
    uninviting pool

The location right in the heart of the national park allowed us to enjoy the sounds of howler monkeys and see very nice wildlife. The twin room was clean and comfy.

the pool was not as inviting as expected.

great hotel with very nice team especially at the reception desk. awesome and phenomenal location, nice to chill at after a long morning touring the temples. also - close enough to tikal early in the morning, is well designed, and the jungle surrounded by nature.

    beautiful location
    humid nights

The location is excellent, being right in

The heart of Tikal National Park, which allowed us to see wildlife like spider monkeys and toucans. The shared bathrooms were very clean, but having no air conditioning was nice. A nice experience.

The Jungle Lodge Tikal Hostal features an unbeatable location right next to the park entrance, with access for sunrise tours. The pool area amidst the jungle setting is fantastic. Staff were helpful, promptly changing our mosquito nets upon request.

The windows are just mosquito netting, making it hard to sleep in.

    knowledgeable guides
    beautiful gardens
    sleep disruption
    humidity issue
    window coverage

Staying here offered a unique opportunity to hike during both sunrise and sunset. The guides, especially Luis for the sunset tour, were knowledgeable and attentive. Transportation from the airport was seamless with Ruben, who was friendly and informative. The mosquito netting on the windows made it difficult to sleep, and the lack of air conditioning in such a humid environment was challenging. While the gardens were beautiful, better maintenance could enhance the overall comfort of the stay.
